About the Author
I am a high school student in California who has grown up seeing the increasing amounts of trash and environmental damage along local beaches. Witnessing this firsthand motivated me to take action, leading me to found a beach cleanup club dedicated to protecting coastal environments. Through this initiative, we have removed over 100 gallons of waste, working to restore and preserve the natural beauty of our shores. Recently, I have become interested in exploring the connection between environmental conditions and public health, especially how pollution and ecosystem health can impact the human brain and overall well-being. Through EcoHealth, I aim to combine my passion for environmental action with my interest in neuroscience to raise awareness and inspire change.
My Mission: to explore the relationship between environmental health and human well-being, while taking action through community efforts like beach cleanups.
